A Short-Term Stay. A Real-Life Experience.

This summer, Daymark Living offers flexible short-term residency options designed for individuals and families exploring what’s next—without the pressure of a long-term commitment.

Residents step into daily life at Daymark, participating in real routines, real connections, and real experiences alongside full-time residents.

Not a Program. Not a Preview. Real Life at Daymark.

Summer Stays follow the same structure, support, and daily rhythm as full-time residency. Residents are integrated into the community—not separated into a temporary experience.

DESIGNED TO EASE THE TRANSITION

Summer Stays provide a gradual, supported path into independence-
helping residents and families build confidence, reduce uncertainty, and explore what long-term living could look like.

Who Summer Stays Are Designed For

  • Adults 18+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities

  • Families exploring next steps

  • Individuals preparing for a transition to independent living

  • Those seeking a structured, supportive environment

    • A Summer Stay is a short-term residential experience at Daymark Living that allows individuals to step into daily life on campus. Residents participate in real routines, activities, and community life—gaining confidence and independence in a supportive environment.

  • Summer Stays are not a separate program or temporary experience. Residents are fully integrated into the Daymark community, participating alongside full-time residents in everyday life. This is a true reflection of what living at Daymark feels like.

    • The application process is the same as it is for full-time residents. This ensures that each individual is set up for success with the right level of support and a strong fit within the community.

  • Residents must be 18 years or older to participate in Summer Stays.

  • Each day includes a blend of structure and flexibility, with opportunities for life skills development, social connection, and enrichment. Residents may participate in classes, outings, shared meals, and community activities—mirroring the rhythm of full-time residential life.

  • Yes. Many families use Summer Stays as a natural step toward long-term residency. It provides a meaningful way to build comfort, confidence, and familiarity before making a more permanent decision.
