Week 1: Welcome & Orientation
New residents settle into fully furnished apartments, meet their roommates, and start to feel at home. Families get peace of mind as our team walks them through every support touchpoint and resource available.
Week 2–3: Life Skills Bootcamp
Cooking, cleaning, budgeting, laundry, and personal safety classes — all designed to build everyday independence while making life skills fun and empowering.
Week 4–6: Social Growth & Community Connections
Residents enjoy outings to local spots in Waxahachie, Dallas, and the greater DFW area, plus volunteer opportunities and social events that spark friendships and real-world confidence.
Week 7–9: Confidence in Action
With new skills and friendships, residents set personal goals — from planning a meal with friends to joining a recreational club. Families receive updates and guidance to plan for what’s next.
Week 10–12: Reflection & Next Steps
Together, we celebrate growth and talk through next steps. Many families feel ready to explore long-term living options after seeing the progress made in just one semester.
